The Manager, Credit Models role is critical to making this happen by delivering on an agreed work plan across decision models, capital models and associated infrastructure to deliver greatest benefits to the wider organisation.

 

You would also have the opportunity to:

  • Aid the development of models, prioritization and elaborate any business or investment cases from NZ Wholesale Models
  • Help deliver key wholesale credit modelling projects on time and with quality.
  • Prepare and help deliver presentations in the form of education and/or key messages to ANZ business teams, with the aim to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of credit processes.
  • Build and sustain collaborative relationships with peers and direct team members.
  • Manage the implementation of models and associated strategies into the supporting NZ risk infrastructure.
  • Influence Global Retail Models, Group Model Validation and NZ risk senior managers.

Ōu Pūkenga? – What will you bring

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

  • Strong analytical skills including: statistical software (e.g. SAS, R, Python) and advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, data warehouse systems, SQL.
  • Understanding of credit scoring across decision and ratings models and their use in acquisition strategies, portfolio management techniques, regulatory compliance, and capital management
  • Strong analytical, numerical, research and problem-solving skills with ability to create strong links with P&L and the operational business areas for commercial business acumen.
  • Some stakeholder management to ensure strong delivery focus and tight management of NZ wholesale models.
  • Comfort working independently and have open approach to changing landscapes.
