The Team:
The Marketing Analytics and Insight team is part of the marketing operation, and works in close partnership with cross functional teams including the broader go-to-market organization, marketing and sales organizations. As the engine and oil of our marketing machine, driving efficiency, optimization and smooth operations.
The Position:
The Marketing Analytics and Insight Manager is responsible for driving the company’s data-driven marketing strategy by analyzing complex data sets, deriving actionable insights, and presenting findings to key stakeholders. This role requires a blend of analytical skills, strategic thinking, and marketing expertise to optimize campaign performance, improve customer acquisition and retention, and influence product development and go-to-market strategies
The Work You’ll Do:
- Data Governance: Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all marketing datasets. Work with IT and data teams to manage data sources, establish data standards, and implement best practices for data management.
- Data Integration: Work closely with data engineers and IT teams to ensure the seamless integration of data sources into visualization tools. Develop processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) that support visualization needs.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze large datasets from various marketing channels (digital, social, email, SEO, etc.) to assess campaign performance, customer behavior, and market trends. Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to the marketing team and senior leadership.
- Marketing Strategy Optimization: Work closely with the marketing team to identify key metrics, evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, and recommend adjustments to improve ROI. Provide insights that drive the optimization of customer acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies.
- Customer Insights: Conduct deep dives into customer data to understand customer journeys, segmentations, and lifetime value (LTV). Utilize this information to inform personalized marketing strategies and product offerings.
- Predictive Analytics: Develop and apply predictive models to forecast future marketing outcomes, such as customer acquisition costs, conversion rates, and campaign effectiveness. Also Attribution and Marketing Mix models. Use these models to guide strategic decisions and budget allocations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, sales, finance, and IT teams to ensure that marketing strategies align with broader business goals. Facilitate data sharing and integration across departments to provide a holistic view of performance.
- Technology & Tools Management: Oversee the selection, implementation, and utilization of marketing analytics tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Power BI, CRM systems). Ensure that the marketing team is fully equipped to leverage these tools effectively.
- Team Leadership: If applicable, manage and mentor a team of marketing analysts, providing guidance and support to develop their skills and ensure the delivery of high-quality insights.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- 7 – 10 years of experience in marketing analytics, data analysis, or a related field, preferably within a marketing or digital marketing environment.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Power BI, Excel).
- Strong experience with statistical analysis and modeling techniques (e.g., regression analysis, cluster analysis, A/B testing).
- Knowledge of digital marketing platforms and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Experience with SQL, R, Python, or other programming languages for data analysis is a plus.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
