Job Description

Nestlé Zone Europe is looking for a Product Manager to scale a Marketing ROI product called Marketing & Sales Cockpit. Current and planned product features encompass data driven marketing modules such as campaign evaluation, marketing, promotion, merchandizing budget optimization, and links to assortment pricing. The product is already deployed in France, Spain, the UK, Italy and Turkey, coming soon to Germany and Switzerland. The position will report to the Chief Data Officer for Zone Europe, Jessica Matheron.

Main responsibilities

  • Define Product vision. M&S Cockpit is evolving from a Marketing spend optimization tool to a “full mix” optimization solution across media, promotion, merchandizing & pricing (the 4Ps of Marketing). The goal here is to create a holistic roadmap in partnership with marketing teams and senior leadership of Zone Europe.

  • Coordinate product deployment end-to-end from framing sessions on new builds to overseeing data engineering & data science model validation to finally monitoring adoption. The community of stakeholders to engage is about a hundred people through Zone Europe.

  • Coordinate product run on an ever-increasing scope of countries, leveraging learnings on processes and automation wherever possible to improve data quality and speed of model refresh delivery.

  • Engage internal resources: Global, Zone Europe and Country (Data Analytics, Data Engineers, Data Governance, Marketing, CDO). Drive Steering Committee agenda.

  • Supervise external collaborators (group resources, consultants, media agency) to get projects across the finish line.

The role can be partially remote and there will be flexibility, but you should expect to spend 20%-40% of the time (on a monthly basis) in the office.

Preferred experience & skills

  • Master’s degree (if located in France, Grandes Ecoles a plus) in Science or Business.

  • 10 years of experience in data, preferably with some lead/management experience. Very strong organizational skills are required given the breadth of the product’s scope.

  • Experience coordinating the work of a data engineering team with Agile practices a strong plus.

  • Great communication skills & fluency in English. As deployment is across Europe, most meetings and presentations must be delivered in English.

  • Experience in Marketing or with Optimization solutions welcomed. Experience with change management in large organizations a plus.

  • Some experience with Python & SQL programming a plus to perform functional code reviews. Knowledge of PowerBI a plus.
