About The Opportunity

The Manager Data Manager is responsible for the development, coordination and execution of activities related to building, maintaining and defining master data processes for SAP, other company data repositories and related integrations. This role directly and indirectly manages a team of Master Data Analysts and Supervisors that are directly responsible for material master, bill of material, routing, TMS data entry, as well as the artwork associated with value-add accessory records. The Master Data Manager is also responsible for data governance. Data governance is essential to the future success of the company, by resolving existing data problems and preventing future data problems. This role plays a lead role in supporting all business functional areas as a technical leader.

  • Responsible for ensuring tools and resources are in place to facilitate the accurate and timely entry of reliable enterprise data.

  • Provide overall leadership, supervision, and direction for the execution of daily activities and priorities to meet internal/external customer demand.

  • Oversees the prioritization of data maintenance requests to best meet internal and customer requirements while adhering to data governance standards.

  • Work closely with cross functional business teams (marketing/sales, engineering, product development, IT, etc.) to establish governance policies and procedures for data management.

  • Actively promotes talent development through coaching, mentoring and coordination of resources to ensure employee engagement and progression of skills and competencies.

  • Provides strategic leadership in the development of department processes, procedures, and reference documents.

  • Prioritizes continuous improvement initiatives within the department and provides input for initiatives across the business.

  • Partner with key stakeholders, to support strategic initiatives resulting in improved service to our customers.

  • Provides system support of technology solutions utilized by team and key stakeholders who utilize Master Data.

  • Responsible for providing guidance on maintenance of ORBIS Quality System documents and work instructions related to Master Data which are utilized across the business.

  • Support of department and business through change management initiatives.

  • Provides back-up support for specific functions throughout the department.

  • Other duties as assigned.
