Master Data Operations Lead
Major Duties:
Leadership and Strategy:
- Develop and implement the strategic vision for Master Data Operations.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 5 data stewards.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align master data operations with business goals.
- Exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
- Impacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams
- Works within broad guidelines and policies
Data Quality and Integrity:
- Drive initiatives to improve data quality, consistency, and accuracy.
- Implement data validation and cleansing processes.
- Monitor and report on data quality metrics.
- Manage master data lifecycle processes, including data creation, modification, and deactivation.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with business units, IT, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements.
- Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams.
- Provide training and support to data stewards and data users.
Reporting and Analytics:
- Develop and deliver regular reports on data quality and operational activities.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
- Support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Experience :
- Strong understanding of data management principles, data lifecycle, and data quality best practices.
- Experience with data management tools and technologies (e.g., MDM, data quality tools).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
- May lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements
- 10+ Years of in Data Management
- Financial Service experience is preferred
