DescriptionPOSITION OVERVIEW:Leads the development and enforcement of data governance policies and standards, ensuring data is well-managed, trusted and compliant across the organizationESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Own and implement data governance policies, standards, cataloging, lineage and quality management to ensure data integrity and trust Oversee the development and maintenance of data catalogs and lineage to enhance data accessibility and usability

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data governance principles into business processes and technology solutions Monitor and report on data governance metrics and performance to senior management Manage, lead and develop a professional data governance team fostering technical growth and continuous improvement Perform other duties as assigned

Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/proceduresQUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, information systems, or related fieldFive (5) years of experience in data governance or related fieldsStrong knowledge of data governance frameworks, policies and standardsExperience with data cataloging, lineage and quality management toolsFamiliarity with data compliance and regulatory requirementsStrong analytical skills for assessing data governance and identifying areas for improvementExcellent communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and business teamsLeadership skills to guide and develop a high-performing data governance teamJOB CONDITIONS:Some travel requiredPay Transparency:Compensation listed reflects the pay range or pay rate reasonably expected for this position. Actual pay determined by job-related factors permitted by law and relevant to position, such as experience, tenure, market level, pay at the location, performance, schedule, and work assignment.
