The Boeing Company’s Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) is currently seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack Cloud & AI Software Developer to join the Enterprise Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data (EAI&D) team in North Charleston, SC; Arlington, VA; Auburn, WA; Berkeley, MO; Chicago, IL; El Segundo, CA; Everett, WA; Huntington Beach, CA; Huntsville, AL; Long Beach, CA; Mesa, AZ; Oklahoma City, OK; Plano, TX; Renton, WA; Ridley Park, PA; San Antonio, TX; Seal Beach, CA; or Seattle, WA. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for exploring cutting edge AI and data analytics solutions, developing cloud-native software architectures, and associated development techniques. In this position, the candidate will contribute to the definition of software designs within a common framework to support multiple, and varying, data analytics products developed across the organization. The candidate will be required to integrate complex requirements, develop and deploy major system components, and contribute to the design of best-value architecture designs to meet customer needs.

The ideal candidate will excel in the technical acumen/excellence required for this role, in areas such as:Software architecture concepts, primarily cloud-based solutionsCloud-based service models, such as Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)Cutting edge cloud-native data analytics tools and solutions, predominantly driven by Open-Source frameworksPosition Responsibilities:Performs software development using an Agile operating modelTeams up with product management by representing the software development function and advocating for effective & scalable technical solutionsForecasts computational needs and capabilitiesInfluences program decision makers to use appropriate computational tools and processesPairs and partners within and across teams to drive best practices and foster an inclusive and innovative work environmentBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):3+ years of experience with software development and design1+ years of experience supporting and/or working on any cloud related technology or solution1+ years of experience programming using pythonExperience with Development Operations (DevOps) and/or Development Security Operations (DevSecOps)Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), deploying to cloud environmentsExperience working in an Agile software development methodology environmentExperience with a modern JavaScript-based web application front end framework such as React, Vue or AngularPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work or military experienceExperience building and deploying serverless compute functionality using Azure Functions or similarExperience effectively communicating complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences, and be able to quickly understand new technologies and come up with technology insertion plansExperience leading high impact projects and mentoring junior developersExperience working with a commercial cloud platformExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDrug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary pay range: $93,500 – $135,700
