Mid-Senior Data Engineer
Job Description
We are looking for a Mid-Senior Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to exciting projects for one of our customers in Athens. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with advanced data technologies and collaborate with a talented team in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and optimize data pipelines using Azure Cloud services (Azure Data Lake Store, Azure Synapse Analytics, Apache Spark, Azure Data Factory, Databricks).
- Implement DevOps best practices, including version control, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Develop and maintain SQL queries and Python scripts for data processing.
- Work on data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes to ensure robust data solutions.
- Debug and resolve issues in complex data pipelines with strong analytical skills.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data engineering and MLOps.
- Collaborate with data analysts and stakeholders to deliver impactful results.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering with a strong focus on Azure Cloud services.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, warehousing concepts, and ETL processes.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities.
