Position: ML Engineering Coop/Intern
Number of Position(s): 3
Duration: 4 Months
Date: Sept 3rd to Dec 20th, 2024
Location: Hybrid
EDUCATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS
Currently a candidate for Masters, Bachelors degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Communication Engineering or related field with an accredited school in Canada.
As a Fall term 2024 student in CNS Advanced Technology & Incubation (ATI) organization, you will work on new technology about ML/NLP engineering, and evaluate those technologies, including coding a prototype. A paper on the technology evaluation, prototype, and recommendations should be written and presented.
As part of our team, you will:
- With the guidance of the ATI leader, work on new methods and techniques in NLP
- Study the use of the chosen technology theoretically first
- Design and review plan for validating technology through prototype
- Implement and integrate code prototypes with our AI platform
- Document the architecture, workflow, recommendations, and results
You have:
- Proficiency with Python programming and microservices
- Experience with ML engineering ecosystem (feature stores, model registries, experiment tracking, etc)
It would be nice if you also had:
- Experience with search or conversational AI
- Knowledge regarding Large Language Models.
