NLP/ ML Engineer
Job Description
We currently have a vacancy for an NLP/ ML Engineer fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Your tasks:
- Coordinate the design and implementation of AI solutions;
- Propose adequate machine learning models and employ NLP techniques to extract valuable insights from large datasets;
- Support the development of generative AI solutions in knowledge management;
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into AI solutions;
- Follow AI developments within the organization, attend meetings on AI and prepare briefings for the management.
Requirements
- University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 13 years of relevant working experience in IT;
- Minimum 5 years’ professional experience in developing AI projects, including machine learning and NLP solutions;
- Minimum 3 years’ of experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and containerization tools (e.g. Docker) for the deployment of AI and machine learning applications;
- Minimum 2 years’ of experience with version control systems (Git Hub);
- Experience in cleaning and preparing data for AI/ML models;
- Experience with Deep Learning models and NLP techniques;
- Experience with Knowledge Graphs and SPARQL would be considered as an asset;
- Hands-on knowledge with Large Language Models (e.g. OpenAI, LLaMa and Mistal);
- Excellent knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, Neural Network, and/or artificial intelligence frameworks;
- Excellent command of Python and proficiency with relevant libraries, including but not limited to NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, SpaCy, NLTK, PyTorch, TensorFlow, HuggingFace;
- Technical proficiency regarding database design development, data models, techniques for data mining, and segmentation;
- Excellent command of the English language.
