Hempel, a global leader in coatings and paints, is seeking a Strategic Pricing Manager to achieve Hempel’s Double Impact strategy. Join our Operations Intelligence team as an Operations Analyst and Power BI Developer to make a meaningful impact on how we use data to transform business processes. With a team committed to operational excellence, you’ll collaborate with diverse colleagues and stakeholders across multiple functions to create intuitive dashboards and actionable insights. This role will enable you to influence key decisions and optimize business processes, while also growing your own expertise in business intelligence.

As an Operations Analyst and Power BI Developer, you will play a pivotal role in globalizing and optimizing our BI tools and processes. You’ll support Operations and the CTO organization by developing and maintaining interactive Power BI reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions that empower data-driven decision-making and strategic initiatives. 

  • Develop and implement Power BI reports and dashboards to meet business needs, ensuring they align with strategic goals. 

  • Partner with Operations and CTO functions like Operations, Production, Logistics, Planning, Sustainability, Procurement, R&D, Quality, Solution Management and many more to address BI-related topics and contribute to key data quality improvement initiatives. 

  • Provide analytical support and guidance, while enabling regional stakeholders to utilize BI tools effectively. 

  • Drive continuous improvement by globalizing existing BI tools, streamlining reporting processes, and enhancing operational efficiency. 

  • Act as a liaison between the Digital team and report owners to develop, optimize, and deliver solutions that enhance data accessibility and usage. 

  • Support the training and development of stakeholders in using BI tools to promote a culture of data-driven decision-making. 

What do you need to be successful in this role?  

  • ​​Experience with data modelling and visualization tools preferably in Power BI.  

  • ​Experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining BI solutions. 

  • ​Good communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical solutions into simple, understandable answers for non-technical users. Experience with user training and/or support on BI tools is a plus. 

  • ​Previous experience in a role requiring collaboration with cross-functional teams to address BI-related topics. 

  • ​Knowledge of SQL and its application in BI environments is a plus. 

  • ​Proficiency in English 

  • ​Proactive with strong communication skills, able to advise on BI topics and work independently across teams. 

  • ​Collaborative team player, focused on achieving goals, sharing knowledge, and growing in the BI and analytics field.​
