As an Oracle ETL Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing ETL solutions using Oracle technologies. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements, design scalable ETL architectures, and ensure seamless data integration across systems. Your expertise in Oracle databases, ETL tools, and data modeling will be instrumental in driving the success of our data initiatives.

This position is 100% onsite in Menards, NY and a C2C contract for 30 months.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Working with large and complex Oracle data warehouses, data marts and OLTP databases.
  • Overseeing the creation/modification of Oracle database tables of the appropriate type for the situation.
  • Writing/executing SQL for querying various Oracle databases as well as the Informatica Metadata Repository for validating unit and QA testing, monitoring, and for investigating integrity issues.
  • Guiding the ETL team in the development and monitoring of ETL processes and test plans using Informatica Power Center and Rhapsody.
  • Guiding the ETL team in shaping, enhancing and recommending best practices to the overall ETL (Informatica/Rhapsody) architecture.
  • Investigating and resolving difficult design and build issues, data loading and data integrity issues.
    Performance tuning Informatica/Rhapsody workflows.
  • Using Informatica/Rhapsody to develop ETL mappings and workflows including the use of mapplets, reusable transformations and worklets.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Experience (12+ Years) Determines database structural requirements by analyzing client operations, applications, and programming; reviews objectives with clients; evaluates current systems; provides database support by coding utilities, responding to user questions, and resolving problems.

  • 84 Months Experience writing complex SQL, PL/SQL (stored procedures/functions), with Oracle 12c or higher, including 19c, to Informatica mappings.

  • 48 months Experience developing Rhapsody routes, including Rhapsody 7, acquiring and managing millions of records of data including XML and HL7 message formats.

  • 84 Months Experience using Informatica 8.x or higher, including 10.2, in a data warehouse environment including warehousing concepts, design and development of complex mappings.

  • 84 Months Experience with Informatica Data Quality 8.x or higher, including 10.2, processes, approaches, measurement techniques and business cases for data profiling, data cleansing, standardization, match and merge.

  • 84 Months Experience specifying and conducting system testing (e.g. unit, integration, regression, load, performance) and user acceptance testing.

  • 72 Months Experience working with Health Data with HIPAA, HL7 or similar standards.
