Note: Relocation assistance is not provided.
The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND.
Your Responsibilities
As a Part-Time Student – Data Analyst for John Deere, you will…
- Explore new analytical problems and develop creative solutions using data and analytics
- Ingest, evaluate, and prepare data for use in algorithms and solutions
- Create analysis tools and dynamic visualizations to accelerate insight generation for our customers
- Research new analysis and visualization methodologies alongside domain subject matter experts from areas such as supply management, engineering, operations, and UX
- Communicate findings and methodologies to stakeholders at multiple levels
This position is not available to students on immigration visas
What Skills You Need
- Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in Analytics, IT, Engineering, or equivalent
- Must be registered as a full-time student at a U.S. accredited college/university
- Graduation date of May 2025 or later
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
- Available to work during the academic year 16-20 hours/weekly between the business hours of 8 AM to 4 PM Central
- Available to work during the summer semester 35-40 hours/weekly between the business hours of 8 AM to 4 PM Central
- Must be able to be onsite, as approved by the manager, for training and job acclimation purposes
- Programming experience with languages such as Python, R, or JavaScript
- Data modeling and analysis experience
- Data transformation experience with tools such as Databricks
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
