The Biopharma, Patient & CDI (C4) team builds and maintains the platforms and capabilities that enable Pfizer Business Units to connect digitally with our external customers and effectively engage and collaborate across teams internally. This includes all digital (web, mobile, omni-channel, & devices) products, platforms, services, and experiences in service of patients, HCPs, payors, pharmacists, or clinical sites. Patient and Marketplace Corp. Affairs: Within C4, the Patient and Marketplace Corp. Affairs team is accountable for delivering patient-facing digital companions and external marketplace solutions to increase customer value and simplify specialty pharma services to ensure patients can acquire Pfizer breakthroughs.
What You Will Achieve
The ideal candidate would be someone with advanced knowledge of AWS ETL, Snowflake, Python and SQL scripts
Responsible for development and implementation of short- and long-term solutions using new and existing applications, systems architecture, and applications infrastructure.
The role will design and develop Patient Insights Platform Data backbone to ingest data from various sources, cleanse, standardize and apply data rules and business rules and make data as products for business and across other applications.
How You Will Achieve It
ETL Design & Development:

Develop and implement ELT/ETL processes to source data from various sources, transform it as per business requirements, and load it for reporting and downstream consumptions.

Design and develop complex SQL queries, scripts, and procedures to support data transformation and manipulation.
Data Integration:
-
Integrate data from multiple sources including databases, flat files, APIs, and cloud services.

Ensure seamless data flow between systems while maintaining data quality and consistency.
Performance Optimization:
-
Optimize ELT/ETL processes for performance, scalability, and reliability.

Troubleshoot and resolve ELT/ETL performance issues, data discrepancies, and failures.
Data Quality & Validation:
-
Implement data validation and cleansing processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Develop strategies to monitor data quality and consistency

Documentation & Reporting:
-
Create and maintain detailed documentation for ELT/ETL processes, workflows, and data mappings.

Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into ELT/ETL performance and data quality.
Collaboration:
-
Work closely with business analysts and data scientists to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.

Participate in data architecture and design discussions to ensure alignment with overall data strategy.

Assisting the technology, systems and process workstreams to define the shared data model vision, data sourcing approach, data transformation approach and data reconciliation approach.

The scope of this role includes a wide range of highly analytical platforms and data sources with diverse collection points and complicated collection methods.
Qualifications
Must-Have
-
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

3+ years of relevant experience emphasizing application development, or systems engineering.

Experience supporting applicationsand solutions in the pharmaceutical industry.

Demonstrated expertise and capabilities in matrixed, cross-functional teams and influencing without authority
-
Demonstrated understanding of analytic tools/methods and the ability to generate vital customer insights and market intelligence.

Ability to effectively link insights to implications to inform strategy, planning and execution
-
Proven experience and demonstrated skills AWS Glue, Snowflake, Scala, and Python
-
Good understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC processes

Excellent written, interpersonal, and oral communication skills, communicate and liaise broadly across functions and the global organization.

Strong analytical, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills
-
Ambition to learn and utilize emerging technologies while working in a stimulating team environment.

Knowledge of machine learning algorithms, predictive modelling and forecasting techniques along with building, training and testing datasets for models would be an added advantage.
