Objectives of the Position
- Responsible for the operation management of end-to-end HR services delivery for countries in scope, covering Talent Acquisition, Mobility, HR Administrative, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, Labor Relations & Law, Workforce Analytics and HR Projects.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders on HR Services projects such as service scope expansion, review on service level agreements and service quality enhancement initiatives.
Main Tasks
Operational Excellence
- Ensure consistent quality and compliance on service deliveries offered by the team on the HR Services portfolio.
- Effective Issue Management where crisis managed timely and cross-functionally, stakeholders consulted, risks contained, and sustainable solutions made in place for business continuity.
- Responsible for vendor management for HR Services, which includes service provider scouting, selection, negotiation, contract management, onboarding, performance monitoring and vendor invoice processing.
- Implement HR Services targets and support identified projects and initiatives for service hub goals.
Service Engagement
- Ensure services delivered are in accordance with established Service Level Agreements and internal KPIs.
- Develop competent team who effectively provide value-added services, HR competency and expertise to service recipients, going beyond transactional or administrative services.
- Build and maintain effective stakeholder management to promote collaboration for achievements and service excellence experience.
Process Improvement and Project Initiatives
- Proactively explore and implement digitalization and process optimization initiatives to achieve best cost to serve, engaging team experience and service excellence. Drive implementation of process improvements, automation and digitalization measures which will be rolled out predominantly in the GB KL Hub for achieving the efficiency target.
- Ensure delivery on knowledge management framework in building the formation of competence hub. Develop and timely management of knowledge strategies in ensuring the sustainability of competent HR Services team.
People Leadership
- Manage team resources (size of 18 – 20 members) to meet optimum workforce in delivering quality service deliveries.
- Consistently demonstrate corporate values of Creative, Open, Responsible, and Entrepreneurial (CORE) on people leadership practices.
- Committing to the coaching and development of team member.
Requirements
Education
- Tertiary education, preferably graduate in Human Resource Management
Working Experience
- Minimum 8 years of HR Administration experience with 2 years supervisory experience.
- Demonstrated success in leading and managing a complex work group of about 10-20 people.
- Experience and familiar working with a world-class HR system (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft).
- Experience in the initial setting up and managing operations of a shared service centre/ outsourcing.
- With good analytical skills & project implementation experience.
Technical & Professional Knowledge
- Good general Human Resources skills and knowledge in similar function.
- Excellent communication and people management/ development skills.
- Some knowledge of Human Resources and Employment Laws in the Asia Pacific region.
- Functional knowledge and skills in using Microsoft applications, i.e. Words, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Fluent in speaking and written English. Knowledge of any other Asian languages is advantageous.
