Compensation decisions are based upon the candidate level of skill, qualifications, geographical location and experience, and it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the posted pay range. Additionally, the position may also be eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation (such as cash bonuses).
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supporting scientific collaborations at luminary institutions and driving collaborative research results leading to impactful publications, external grant applications, and/or patent applications
- Driving the publication of results at conferences and in world-class journals
- Identifying, building, and foster strong collaborative relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the region
- Supporting the future PET/CT product development pipeline – coordinating both with internal development teams and research partners for the development, comprehensive evaluation, and testing of prototypes and new products
- Keeping customers and collaboration partners informed and up to date about United Imaging’s technologies
- Execute research contracts with support from legal, regulatory, and compliance
- Effectively communicating with United Imaging’s internal colleagues and leadership
Requirements:
Education
Ph.D. or equivalent experience in Medical Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical/Nuclear Engineering, or related fields with a detailed knowledge of PET/CT
Experience
- A strong clinical and/or technical background in the field of PET/CT with a proven track record of scientific publications
- Familiarity with one or more of the following areas of expertise: kinetic modeling, PET data acquisition/corrections, image reconstruction, artificial intelligence
Required Skills or/ Attributes
- Proven ability in leading research projects and collaborations.
- Excellent communication & presentation skills.
- Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Willing and able to travel up to 30%, including short term international trips.
