Position summary:

As a Planning Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making processes within planning team. Your primary responsibility will be to manage, develop, and interpret data or reports related to various aspects of planning team. Working closely with cross-country members, you will contribute to the development of strategic initiatives by providing insights derived from your analytical and development expertise.

Essential duties & responsibilities: (detailed description)

  • Master Data Management: Work on maintenance or creation of item, trade lane, supplier, PO, Inventory, E&O, SO(aged), demand plan, and NRP data
  • Develop and automate various planning reports using database and available tools.
  • Refresh and maintain existing data or reports on a regular basis, and conduct training if required.
  • Data Validation(except for DP & NRP): Regular and thorough validation processes to contribute to the overall quality of data-driven insights.
  • Data/Report Quality Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to enhance data processes, analysis methodologies, and mechanisms.
  • Work towards continuous improvement in the accuracy and efficiency of planning activities.
  • Data Visualization and Reporting: Visualize the data related to planning to create effective reports that support decision-making.
  • Identify Key Issues and Risks: Identify and assess major issues and risks related to planning to address or mitigate them.

Education & special trainings:

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, industrial engineering, supply chain
  • Min relevant experience in supply chain, data or report development based on automation technology.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python/R, or any other programming languages
  • Work experience in a team-based environment within manufacturing or supply chain
  • Proven track record of making health care better with customers.
  • ERP, BI

Qualifications & experience:

  • Capabilities in developing various required data/reports by combining company database, data science and automation skills.  
  • Experience analyzing large data sets and proven analytical skills to draw action items, insights, and recommendations from data.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills – able to interact independently with stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across functional teams on resolving problems and/or projects.
  • Meticulous, detailed oriented and sense of urgency for problem solving.
