Power BI Consultant

We are actively seeking a skilled Power BI Consultant to help us harness the power of data to optimize our operations and drive strategic decision-making to join our team at our offices in Marousi.

As a Power BI Consultant, you will play a crucial role in transforming complex data into actionable insights. You will work closely with various departments to understand their data needs, design and develop interactive dashboards and reports, and provide training and support to ensure effective utilization of Power BI tools.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements for data analysis and reporting.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models.
• Test, implement, and document BI systems.
• Evaluate existing data-collecting and analytics systems.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources to Power BI.
• Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms.
• Analyze big data to discover trends and patterns.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Optimize performance of Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Establish procedures for data sharing with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate and secure methods to extract data.
• Use data visualization techniques to present information.
• Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI tools and best practices.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security in all reports and dashboards.
• Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and industry best practices.
• Assist in the integration of Power BI with other business applications and systems.
• Perform ad-hoc data analysis to support business decision-making.

Requirements

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in building predictive models and machine-learning algorithms.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with other data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView).
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R.

To qualify for the role, you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Power BI Consultant or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
• Experience with SQL and database management
