Job Description

Legal and General’s Retail business is currently looking to hire a Data and Insight Analyst to the team in to help support in the continued insight into the development of a centralised MI planning platform and the associated suite of reports.

This role will see you working across many teams within LGR and see you responsible for delivering insight into areas such as employee performance, NPS scores and customer satisfaction as well as requirements for incoming applications. To achieve this, you will be bringing together many sources of data into single sources of true and diving into the power platforms and creating dashboards for increased visibility as well as identifying areas which may benefit from process automation to increase efficiency. 

    What you’ll be doing:

    • Providing value adding analytics to identify improvement opportunities, risk avoidance and promote growth to the wider business.
    • Developing, building, running and maintaining new systems and processes to gather information about all workload volumes regardless of channel, utilizing existing information where available and establishing new information where not.
    • Working closely with everyone in the Operational Planning team and supporting all activities by providing insightful feedback that helps us establish the value of our decisions and supports continuous improvement.
    • Providing value adding insight analytics to identify improvement opportunities and promote growth to the wider business.
    • Developing a wide knowledge of the Insurance business and use it to integrate different data streams to provide added insight to your audience and increase visibility of the overall performance of the organization.
    • Managing stakeholders to provide support to the wider business where required

    Qualifications

    Who we’re looking for:

    • Strong working knowledge of Power BI and SQL
    • Good working knowledge of MS Office Applications including Word, Excel (Data manipulation, Pivots, VBA, Complex Formula,) and PowerPoint
    • An analytical and logical thinker with the ability to apply creative solutions to achieve a desired outcome.
    • Strong attention to detail and technical proficiency in extracting prerequisite data from disparate internal systems
    • Understanding stakeholder’s problems through analysing quantitative and qualitative data and using this understanding to deliver great insights that help improve business performance
    • Ability to effectively plan and prioritise in line with business requirements
    • Ability to plan and structure workload, collaboratively delivering under pressure and to deadlines
    • Practiced in drawing conclusions from insights, presenting to stakeholders who may not be data savvy
