Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Power BI Expert, As a Power BI Expert, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data systems and pipelines, using both established and cutting-edge technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to bring new insights and identify patterns hidden within complex business and technical data, turning these insights into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities:

  • Data understanding: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs
  • Data visualization: Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports
  • Data transformation: Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
  • Data security: Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security
  • Data presentation: Present data to team members in an actionable form
  • Data analysis: Build analysis services reporting models, and analyze data to help with decision-making
  • Data integration: Integrate and alter data from different sources
  • Infrastructure maintenance: Maintain the Power BI infrastructure, and troubleshoot data-related issues
  • User training: Provide training and support to end users on how to use the dashboards and reports
  • Business intelligence: Deliver business intelligence services, and lead BI software development
  • Building multi-dimensional data models
  • Developing data documentation
  • Performing detailed analysis on tested and deployed Power BI scripts
  • Converting business requirements into technical specifications
  • Establishing row-level data security
  • Optimizing Power BI solutions for performance and usability
  • Must demonstrate the ability to optimize refreshes, programmatically and/or manually for large scale customer deployments.

 

Requirements

  • Proven experience (6+ years) working as a data analyst, data engineer, or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of data visualization and reporting tools Power BI is a must.
  • Proven experience with Power BI, including Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power BI Mobile.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, and Per
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, database design, and SQL.
  • Familiarity with integrating data from multiple sources.
  • Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts and practices
  • Familiarity with frameworks and libraries for machine learning and artificial intelligence
  • Proven experience working with large data sets and distributed computing
  • Experience with custom visuals and integrating R or Python in Power BI.
  • Knowledge of Power Platform tools like Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate are highly desirable.
  • Location: Remote
  • Shift Timing: 5:30 PM to 3:00 AM ( 4-5 hrs of overlapping )
  • Salary Range: 14 – 17 LPA
