What you’ll do:

Act as a technical lead on projects aiming to improve performance of core pricing models and deliver results.

Work end-to-end from data exploration, creating data pipeline, generating insights/features, building ML models to deploying them

Define and maintain science and engineering best practices in the form of processes.

Lead code reviews to identify issues, root causes and solutions.

Work with product and data science management to develop key results for given product objectives.

Work with other technical product owners, lead data scientists and data science managers to develop technical solutions.
Who you are:

8+ years of experience in a data science role, with a proven track record of developing and deploying predictive models.

Strong expertise in neural networks and deep learning techniques, with hands-on experience in their application to real-world problems.

Proficient in Python for data analysis, machine learning, and model deployment.

Cloud background, with experience in GCP (Google Cloud Platform) being a plus.

Advanced degree (Ph.D. or Master’s) in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related discipline.

Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex challenges and drive innovative solutions.

Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Highly motivated, self-driven, and passionate about solving challenging problems in a collaborative environment.

Axion is based in New York, New York with a headquarters in Williamsburg and the team works in a hybrid capacity. This role is expected to work in the office at least 3 days weekly.
