Job Description

Overview

Chick-fil-A has heavily invested in Analytics and Data Literacy in all areas of the business. The Analytics & Risk team, within Digital Transformation & Technology Shared Platforms (DSP), exists to deliver digital capabilities and outcomes that transform data into business value. We deliver mature advanced analytics capabilities and outcomes through empowering data and analytics programs, continuing to maximize the value of complex data portfolios through focused portfolios teams, and accelerating model operations implementation and adoption with comprehensive advanced analytics portfolio technology solutions.

The Financial Data Architect is a member of the DTT Shared Platform – Analytics & Risk team within the Digital Transformation & Technology (DTT) department. The primary role of the Enterprise Data Architect is to serve as “decision designers” that improve analytic business outcomes by optimizing data formats and structures, and to identify the best policies for maximizing the value of our organization’s data. What does this mean? This role wrangles billions of rows of data into consumable information that can be accessed in real-time to guide decision-making and insights for the entire organization, from Operators to Team Members to Staff to Customers. This role requires expert knowledge of both business and technology acumen to apply the right tool to meet the stakeholder requirements and must influence this plan across teams. The end goal is to create a vision and communicate how all of the pieces will ultimately come together. This role will be responsible for stewarding the organization’s financial data into a single source of truth that’s both searchable and accessible. The Data Architect is a strategic leader with the ability to mentor, collaborate, and build rapport with other data & analytics teams and business partners to effectively influence organizational data strategy and decisions.

Our Flexible Future model offers a healthy mix of working in person and virtually, strengthening key elements of the Chick-fil-A culture by fostering collaboration and community.
