OverviewPrincipal Project Manager, Global Payment NetworkProject Manager,Global Payment NetworkAs a Project Manager at Capital One, you will drive strategy and execute on high priority projects for the company. You will work with smart and passionate people to deliver results that have a direct impact on the company’s bottom line. Responsible for end-to-end debit issuer readiness management, which includes customer experience, operational and issuer performance, and merchant marketing development. Manages marketing strategy for individual issuers, actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management. General Responsibilities:Work on large and small scale projects that have a direct impact on the company.

Drive projects based on defined priorities; ensure scope of deliverables, timelines and budget are met; identify risks and issues and mitigate and / or escalate as neededPlan, design, manage and execute project plans to ensure delivery. This activity includes management through feasibility, design, planning and implementation.

Leverage problem solving skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent and maintain key project documentationPartner with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project deliveryForge relationships with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitmentsIdentify ways to improve and streamline business processExhibit a proven track record of project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage the workDemonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomesDemonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demandsDisplay strong consulting and collaboration skillsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree or Military experienceAt least 5 Years Project Management experiencePreferred Qualifications:Masters / MBA degreeAt least 7 years of Project Management experiencePMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certificationStrong communication and collaboration skillsStrong problem solving and influencing skillsWork experience achieving resultsAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position. The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. Riverwoods, IL: $106,700 – $121,700 for Principal Project ManagerChicago, IL: $106,700 – $121,700 for Principal Project Manager
