Job Description
Your Career
We are seeking a talented and driven Security Research Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting extensive research on SaaS applications and developing next-generation solutions to protect data within these applications. You will also play a key role in building tools and automations to streamline our research operations.
Your Impact
- Conduct in-depth research on SaaS applications to identify vulnerabilities and develop innovative solutions for data security
- Lead the development of advanced solutions for safeguarding data in SaaS environments
- Develop tools and automations to enhance research operations and streamline processes
- Independently drive and execute self-directed research projects
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate research findings clearly through presentations and documentation
Qualifications
Your Experience
- BE/B.tech in Computer Science or related technical qualification or equivalent military experience
- 10+ years of relevant work experience mandatory
- Solid experience in network security, CASB, and/or DLP
- Proficiency in using tools like Fiddler, Burp-Suite and Wireshark for network traffic inspection – Must have skills
- Experience developing automations and data pipelines
- Strong programming skills in one or more scripting languages (Python OR Java OR JavaScript)
- Good understanding of network protocols and SaaS application stacks
- Familiarity with cloud environments and AI/ML concepts is a plus
- Proven track record of self-driven research initiatives
- Strong aptitude and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Passion for forward-looking research and innovation
- Knowledge of the latest cybersecurity threats and trends
- Prior experience in frontend development would be an added advantage
