Print Planning – Inventory Lead Analyst

Description –

Job Summary
• This role is responsible for driving the development, implementation, and monitoring of strategic business plans and initiatives within the organization including inventory and service level planning activities. The role provides valuable analysis and advice to management across various domains and manages cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and effective business planning. The role formulates highly complex statistical and financial models for forecasting and defines KPIs and metrics to measure business performance.

Responsibilities
• Leads complex data and business analysis to develop business plans, and identifies recommendations and insights.

• Lead and oversee inventory planning processes to ensure optimal stock levels and alignment with business objectives.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align inventory strategies with business goals.
• Works independently to construct highly complex statistical and financial models to forecast business performance; coaches others on model development.
• Monitor and report on key inventory metrics (accuracy, fill rates, inventory turns) to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Manage inventory risk and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential disruptions in the supply chain and avoid excess or aged inventory.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in inventory planning, helping drive automation and predictive analytics.
• Contributes to priority projects by adding creative insights and developing recommendations.
• Partners with business leaders to develop business plans and proactively identify new opportunities.
• Develops go-forward business plan recommendations based on potential risks and returns.
• Identifies cutting-edge analytical tools, models, and methods for making key business decisions.
• Demonstrates a high level of business acumen and technical expertise in areas such as business planning, operational management, and financial analysis.

• Ability to thrive in a fast=paced environment, balancing strategic and operational tasks.

Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in strategy, planning, operations, inventory planning, finance, or related fields)

The base pay range for this role is $102,500 – $157,850 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only).  Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
