Arconic is currently in search of a Procurement – Data Reporting and Solutions Analyst to join our Global Rolled Products (GRP) business unit.

Primary Responsibilities 

  • The data analyst works with procurement personnel globally to understand the data requirements for their business intelligence needs and specific projects, acquires the necessary data, and perform data transformation and analytics.
  • Responsible for the maintaining the Global Spend reporting/analytics solution to ensure that the business intelligence reporting maintains data integrity for decision making purposes (which can include senior management at Arconic).  The analyst will establish mappings, and work with global IT resources to resolve data and interface issues. 
  • Responsible to design, develop and maintain complex global Power BI and SharePoint solutions to track Spend, QBRs, Strategic Commercial Owner, Commodity accuracy and Market Intelligence for key global commodity areas to support critical business forecasts and “go to market” strategies.
  • Consults with global cross-departmental and cross functional team members to evaluate and specify interfaces between various systems to ensure synchronization of functionality and optimized operation and performance. 
  • Fully understands the various global procurement business processes and how these relate to the requirements for building reports, data, business intelligence and global KPIs.
  • Program and solution owner for strategic global Procurement tools supporting Sourcing (RFP, RFI, Auctions), Working Capital and Contract Management.  Drive adoption of tools within Global Procurement, provide training and central support to optimize use and delivered value to the company. 
  • Create the monthly Program Management Office (PMO) deck with KPI’S and backup detail to be reviewed with the VP Procurement, Directors and their direct reports. On occasion present the PMO deck and related material.
  • Backup the team global compliance, contracts/repository team member in case of absences by monitoring the general mailbox and taking action. 

Key Objectives 

  • Assist in achieving global Procurement targets inclusive of cost, innovation, quality, and supplier performance by providing business intelligence data for leadership decision making. 
  • Establish and maintain key organizational KPI’s to track the Global Procurement team key  business objectives. 
  • Use Market Intelligence data to provide future cost projections of key commodities and recommendations of buying strategies to maximize value to shareholders of the company
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify, define and deliver new global procurement tools and processes to lower the cost structure of the company and achieve world class cost benchmarks
  • Support preparation for global commercial / non-commercial events to meet objectives, including, but not limited to RFP/RFI’s, Kaizen workshops and Working Capital/Inventory Workshops.
  • Interface with Procurement Operations Managers at each manufacturing site in the U.S. to develop in depth understanding of purchasing processes, critical material sourcing and savings initiatives.

Basic Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Accounting, Data Science/Analytics, Marketing/Communications, Economics, Mathematics, or Engineering from an accredited Institution. 
  • 5 years of experience in data analytics, purchasing and/or supply chain management Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • U.S. Only This position may require access to export-controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. §730, et seq.) and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Qualified candidate must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the relevant government agency. Business demands may require employer to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
     

Preferred Qualifications 

  • MBA in Business Administration/Economics or similar
  • Expertise in Excel, Power Point, Sharepoint and Power BI
  • Familiarity with Oracle database structures and SQL for troubleshooting with IT
