We’re looking for a Procurement BI Analyst to join our team in, Poeldijk, Netherlands on a 12 month contract.

The Procurement BI Analyst will play a key role in supporting the procurement team by managing and optimizing data systems to enhance reporting and analytics across European procurement operations. This includes working with ERP systems in BV, Germany, France, and Eurowest, as well as creating insightful Power BI reports to support finance and operations teams. The role involves writing SQL queries, managing supply chain planning tools, and transforming raw data into actionable insights to drive business efficiency.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintain and automate data models and processes to improve efficiency and functionality.
  • Enhance and manage the reporting suite across multiple regions, ensuring consistent data availability.
  • Write SQL queries to extract accurate data from various ERP systems across Europe.
  • Develop and deliver Power BI reports for finance, operations, and senior management.
  • Translate complex data sets into clear and actionable insights to support decision-making.
  • Monitor, validate, and process data to support logistics and supply chain planning, using Excel-based tools.
  • Assist with onboarding and training users on BI tools and systems to ensure effective utilization.
  • Collaborate with finance and operations teams to align data solutions with business needs.
  • Write and integrate variation orders (VOs) into reporting systems and provide ad-hoc project support.
  • Travel occasionally to company sites in the UK, Netherlands, and Germany to meet operational needs.

Requirements

Essential Experience, Qualifications & Skills 

  • Proven experience in an analyst or data-focused role, with a strong understanding of ERP systems across multiple regions (BV, Germany, France, Eurowest). 
  • Proficiency in writing SQL queries and integrating data into BI tools like Power BI. 
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivots, formulas, charts and data connections) for managing supply chain planning, logistics management, and data analysis. 
  • Must have fluency in English 
  • Strong attention to detail, with excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities. 
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and deliver insights. 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. 

Desirable Experience, Qualifications & Skills 

  • Experience in Dynamics 365 
  • Familiarity with Visual Basic (VBA). 
  • Fluency in Dutch is highly advantageous.  
  • Background in the fresh produce or FMCG industries. 
  • Knowledge of additional coding languages or data governance principles. 
  • Previous experience delivering data-driven reports to finance and operations teams.
