As a Product Design Lead, you will shape the vision and direction of our digital health experiences.
You’ll guide design direction and strategy through a deepunderstanding of user needs, lead designers through ambiguity, and elevate the craft and cohesion of our products across the Libre ecosystem. This role combines vision-setting, hands-on design, and team leadership. You’llsteward the design of new product areas, continually improve our productexperience, mentor designers, influence cross-functional partners, and ensure our experiences meet the highest bar of quality, clarity, and humanity.
This role is remote, with regular travel to Alameda, CA for team collaboration,workshops, and leadership alignment. What you’ll do:• Set product vision and strategy.
Define the design direction for key productareas, influence roadmaps, and ensure experiences align with user needs andbusiness goals. • Lead end-to-end product design. Guide teams from early concept explorationthrough polished delivery, creating prototypes, high-fidelity designs, andnarratives that clarify direction and drive alignment.
• Elevate craft and systems. Uphold a high bar for quality, strengthen cohesionacross surfaces, and support the evolution of our design system to createconsistent experiences across the ecosystem. • Mentor and manage designers.
Develop team members through coaching,feedback, and structured growth, fostering a culture of excellence, exploration,and thoughtful problem-solving. • Drive cross-functional alignment. Partner closely with research, product,engineering, and marketing, translating insights into clear, actionable solutionsfor our users.
Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Design or related field. • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including experience developingdesigners and leading teams. Preferred Qualifications:• Proven track record designing and shipping holistic, end-to-end consumerproduct experiences that achieve meaningful business and user outcomes.
