‘We’re looking for a data-driven sports enthusiast to play a vital role in our Product team for Sky Sports & Sky News TV apps, mobile apps, and websites. This role will be focused on our sports platforms, empowering the wider team to gain meaningful insights to drive decision-making. The candidate will be confident in analysing various data sources and presenting insights to stakeholders. What you’ll do:

• Build and develop relationships across the wider sports editorial, product, technology, and data teams. Champion the use of data to drive decision making, ensuring data underpins any product developments, and educating Product Leads to self-serve.
• Be a go-to person for data insights across Sky Sports products. Present findings and recommendations based on insights to stakeholders across the wider team and business.
• Work with a variety of data sources and visualisation tools from Adobe Analytics to Lookr and Tableau to create effective dashboard views, bring our data to life and engage colleagues.
• Contribute to our wider data strategy in the development of our products including tracking implementation and audience segmentation.
• Drive efficiency by automating manual reporting processes and continuously develop analytical methods to improve understanding of product usage.
   

What you’ll bring:

• Experience with analysis and visualisation software such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Tableau, Data Studio and Excel. Ability to take complex data and communicate insights effectively to colleagues across the business.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present to stakeholders of varied levels of data competency in an engaging and succinct manner.
• Passion for TV and digital products – particularly sports – with proven experience in data-driven problem solving.
• Strong mathematical background with a working knowledge of SQL. Knowledge of Python a plus. Proven experience in automating manual processes.

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There are also plenty of bike shelters and showers.

On campus, you’ll find 13 subsidised restaurants, cafes, and a Waitrose. You can keep in shape at our subsidised gym, catch the latest shows and movies at our cinema, get your car washed, and even get pampered at our beauty salon.

Leeds

Our spacious tech hub is less than a mile from Leeds train station. There’s plenty of parking in the surrounding streets and at the nearby CitiPark.
