This is a remote position.

Work Schedule: 

– ​Monday to Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm Sydney Time with 1 hour Unpaid Lunch

Job Summary: Join our dynamic real estate advisory firm as a Property Data Analyst and play a critical role in managing and analyzing high-value property portfolios. This position will immerse you in advanced data analysis, leveraging cutting-edge AI tools to optimize property investment strategies and deliver actionable insights. As part of our growth-oriented team, your work will directly impact client success and portfolio performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of client property portfolios, spanning residential and commercial assets, to identify patterns, trends, and strategic insights.
  • Data Management: Develop and maintain complex spreadsheets and databases to support portfolio analysis, review, and reporting.
  • Asset Optimization: Identify underperforming assets and recommend strategies for portfolio optimization based on thorough data assessment.
  • Cost & Yield Analysis: Evaluate property management costs and rental yields to inform client decisions and optimize financial outcomes.
  • Market & Valuation Support: Assist in property valuation and market analysis, providing real-time insights into changing market conditions.
  • Insight Communication: Synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights that support strategic decision-making for clients.

Requirements

  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet software, with experience handling large datasets and performing complex calculations.
  • Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability in quantitative analysis, pattern recognition, and statistical data interpretation.
  • Real Estate Knowledge: Familiarity with key real estate metrics, including cap rates, occupancy rates, yield analysis, and market dynamics.
  • Data-to-Action Translation: Skilled at translating analytical findings into strategic recommendations and reports for clients.
  • Commercial Property Experience: Experience in commercial property analysis is highly desirable.
  • Educational Background: Degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field (beneficial but not required).

  • Independent & Team Work: Ability to handle complex, independent analytical tasks while collaborating closely with onshore team members.
  • Workload Adaptability: Comfortable managing fluctuating workloads based on client needs and deadlines.
  • Tool Proficiency: Adapt to and learn new property data platforms, AI tools, and analysis software.
  • Process Development: Contribute to the development of standardized portfolio review processes, with the ability to perform complex data modeling.
