As a Reference Data Team Manager, within our team, you will lead a team of 8-10 staff members responsible for the setup and maintenance of the Lockbox product. This role emphasizes collaboration, team development, and stakeholder engagement to ensure reference data accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency. You will serve as a people-focused leader, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement while ensuring the smooth functioning of processes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage operational control of the daily workflow
  • Maximize team capacity through effective resource planning and ensure a robust team structure with effective training and succession planning
  • Ensure all daily controls and processing are completed and signed off
  • Provide direction and leadership to the team
  • Deliver effective communications to the department, ensuring staff are aware of strategic and regulatory changes in the organization
  • Continuously review and update the content and presentation of Standard Operating Procedures in line with new policies and ongoing risk management activities
  • Contribute to strategic development
  • Oversee a team of 8 to 10 staff members
  • Regularly review risks, controls, and governance in the process and ensure satisfactory audit outcomes

 

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Demonstrate operational subject matter expertise
  • You must have at least 3+ years of experience 
  • Exhibit strong people management skills with the ability to lead and motivate managers
  • Show a strong ability to learn an ongoing stream of new products and processes
  • Maintain strong risk and control awareness, including the ability to effectively prioritize workloads and meet critical deadlines
  • Communicate confidently in all mediums with both internal and external clients
  • Think strategically with the ability to review and implement process improvements
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree or above
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
  • Be proficient with Citizen Developer tools (such as Alteryx, UI Path, Pega low code), SQL query, or Python
