At DeepScribe, we are bringing the joy of care back to medicine by helping AI and healthcare professionals work in harmony. Today, we are leveraging ambient AI to automate documentation — allowing clinicians to focus on providing care, not documenting it. Trained using one of the world’s largest databases of patient conversations, DeepScribe empowers providers by transforming patient conversations into fully customizable, detailed clinical notes.

 

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced research/engineering manager to lead our talented team of research engineers. This team will be responsible for driving DeepScribe’s overall research strategy and direction, as well as building the infrastructure that powers our AI models and that our customers interact with every day.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll lead the development and refinement of our AI models that are core to DeepScribe’s product offerings.
  • You’ll collaborate with product teams to lead cross-functional initiatives to build and deploy products and offerings that delight our customers.
  • You’ll drive performance improvements in technical infrastructure, AI modeling, as well as the performance of individual contributors on the teams.

 

About You

  • You’re an ML expert and are either familiar with LLMs or excited to learn quickly
  • You’ve managed or led teams of five or more
  • You can inspire and motivate a team of research scientists
  • You have experience working with applied AI and know how to work with product teams
  • You’re passionate about bringing AI to healthcare
