Job Description

What you will learn and contribute to

Build tools for monitoring industrial operations via autonomous agents. Work will involve the creation of photorealistic 3D models that represent changes in the physical and networking environments within an industrial facility.

As part of the team, you will:

  • Perform research related to the creation of dynamic digital twins for industrial applications. 
  • Contributes to body of knowledge in area of expertise at level of PhD.
  • Execute complex projects and make significant departures from traditional approaches.
  • Contributes novel ideas to help resolve difficult problems with impact on roadmap or field at large.

Your skills and experience

  • You hold a PhD degree in Robotics, Machine Learning, or Computer Science.
  • You have demonstrated research impact in fields related to robotics, visual computing and AI/ML.
  • You are willing to step out of your comfort zone, explore new approaches, and venture into uncharted territories.
  • You can approach problems with a user-centric mindset and find innovative solutions.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Previous co-op or internship experience at Nokia
