Job Description
Please note: this position is 100% onsite in Malta, IL, requires a candidate already based in the US and cannot support sponsorship.
We are looking for a Robotics Engineer II with a solid foundation in robotics and a track record of successful project involvement. The candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of robotic systems and will work closely with cross-functional teams to innovate and improve our robotics solutions.
- Assist in the design and development of robotic systems and products by collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of engineers.
- Participate in the integration and testing of hardware and software components.
- Support the maintenance and troubleshooting of existing robotic systems.
- Help in the documentation of design processes, assembly procedures, and testing protocols.
- Contribute to the creation of user manuals and training materials for robotic systems.
- Stay updated with the latest robotics technologies, methodologies, and best practices.
- Work under the supervision of senior engineers to meet project goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of robotics systems, including mechanics, electronics, and software.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of robotics engineering.
