About the role

We are seeking a collaborative Sales Incentive Compensation Specialist to execute our sales incentive processes within the designated region. In this role the ideal candidate will maintain and manage the Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) automation platform to best achieve the organization’s objectives.  This position will report to the GPS Total Rewards team leader and will partner with our Total Rewards function and Business Unit Sales, Finance and/or Sales Operations teams to drive efficiencies, best practices and process improvements related to the business’ sales incentive process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business Administration could be an advantage

  • 3 plus years of professional work experience

  • Experience with sales compensation, sales compensation software and/or sales systems

  • Experience in Total Rewards domain

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience writing formulas to manage large data sets

  • High degree of personal ownership and demonstrated ability for improving processes and internal controls

  • Capability to work collaboratively across multiple functions including Sales, HR and Finance

  • Ability to work independently with limited oversight from manager

  • Clear, concise communicator in English and French or Spanish

  • Experience with Varicent ICM is a strong plus

  • Experience with Workday HCM is a plus

  • Experience with ServiceNow is a plus

  • Some travel may be required

Responsibilities

  • Drive the execution and continuous improvement of the centralized SIP administration processes and related HR transactional support.

  • Develop and document standard processes, manage SIP automation platform, and implement solutions to advance the efficiency and effectiveness delivery in line with current regulations, business controls and established service level agreements.

  • Work with BU Finance or Sales Ops teams to ensure seamless data flow into the SIP Platform.

  • Perform data analysis, collaborate with appropriate teams to ensure accurate and timely execution for SIP processes, identify areas of opportunity, and troubleshoot issues.

  • Partner with external vendors as needed to ensure effective employee and business support.

  • Works cross functionally with Finance, Digital, and other functions to determine downstream impacts of various projects related to SIP platform and HR technology.

  •  Provide Tier 1 problem resolution for the SIP Platform, addressing basic trouble shooting and escalating issues, if needed.

  • May manage small projects or processes within the Global People Services organization.

  • Works to influence parties within and outside of work area at an operational level regarding policies, practices, and procedures.

  • May have practical knowledge of project management.

  • Practical to substantial knowledge of Carrier projects, programs, or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.

  • As part of GPS Total Rewards team, support of other TR activities in case of needed : support management and deployment of benefits & compensation program, address questions from employees and other HR professionnals, support business in compensation review and calculations.
