Salesforce Data Architect

Position Overview: As a Salesforce Data Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing data architecture solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem. You will work closely with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to understand business requirements, define data models, and architect scalable and efficient data solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, extensive experience with Salesforce platform, and a passion for leveraging data to drive business outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Data Modeling and Design:Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand business objectives and define data requirements.Design scalable and flexible data models within the Salesforce platform to support business processes and reporting needs.Salesforce Configuration and Customization:Configure Salesforce objects, fields, relationships, and workflows to align with data model design and business requirements.Develop custom solutions and integrations using Salesforce technologies such as Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components.Data Integration and Migration:Design and implement data integration strategies to connect Salesforce with external systems, databases, and APIs.Plan and execute data migration projects to migrate data from legacy systems to Salesforce while ensuring data integrity and consistency.Governance and Best Practices:Establish data governance policies, standards, and best practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance within the Salesforce environment.Conduct code reviews, performance optimizations, and security assessments to maintain a high level of quality and reliability in Salesforce solutions.Documentation and Training:Document data architecture designs, data dictionaries, and technical specifications to support development, maintenance, and troubleshooting efforts.Provide training and support to internal teams and end-users on Salesforce data architecture concepts and best practices.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.6+ years of experience in data architecture, with a focus on Salesforce platform.Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Data Architecture and Management Designer (CDAM) or Salesforce Certified Sharing and Visibility Designer (CSD) preferred.Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, architecture, and platform capabilities.Proficiency in Salesforce configuration, customization, and development using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
