SAP Data Engineer – Lisbon 

Capgemini Portugal is currently looking for a SAP Data Engineer to join one of the world’s most prestigious and innovative companies in the luxury industry.

Their Lisbon teams will be an extension of its central Group Platforms teams and will be fully integrated in the core technology workforce. Responsibilities 

Translate the business requirements into technical specifications, in cooperation with Group Data Office. 

Estimate, plan, manage, and lead the assigned data integration projects/tasks within the Data Warehouse team. Coordinate the related tasks and workload with the rest of the Data Warehouse engineers. 

Coordinate the related tasks and workload with the rest of the Data Warehouse engineers. 

Build corresponding ETL processes and data flows to provide data outputs for analytics and data science. 

Cooperate with the support teams to ensure data consistency, data accuracy, and performance of the delivered flows. 

Provide L3 support when required. 

Coordinate the system upgrades together with other platform teams, including the planning and execution of non-regression tests. 

Define and promote best practices and design principles for Data Warehouse architecture in cooperation with the Data Warehouse architect. 

Skills & Experience 

Deep knowledge of SAP BW data modeling and best practices, including HANA modeling and BW4HANA and Datasphere (at least 5 years hands-on experience). 

Knowledge of Google BigQuery and dbt is a plus. 

Report Design using both, SAP Anlaytics Cloud and Looker is a plus. 

ABAP, SQL, and Python. 

Scrum methodology knowledge.
