Security Cooperation Data Analyst

The Opportunity:

As an operations analyst, you’re passionate about exploring the root cause of an issue and then analyzing, reporting, and developing recommendations to improve outcomes. We need a research analyst like you to help us solve complex problems for our clients. On our security cooperation team, you’ll assist in the evaluation of data assessment strategies to help deliver solutions.

You won’t go at it alone, you’ll work with security cooperation practitioners to conduct research, prepare graphs and charts, and analyze and interpret programmatic and cost data. Once documented, you’ll help develop executive-level program briefs, presentations, data visualizations, and reports to present results, collaborate with stakeholders, and participate in various program meetings to improve program efficiency.

In this role, you’ll use your passion for analytics and statistics to aggregate data from authoritative data sources, analyze trends, and present analysis to inform client resource allocation decisions. You’ll engage a broad range of stakeholders and program managers to validate data accuracy and enter client data into security cooperation planning information systems.

Use your operations research experience to develop approaches that advance the security cooperation mission.

You Have:  

  • 2+ years of experience with collecting, analyzing, and reporting data to support decision-making.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

  • Knowledge of data visualization techniques

  • Ability to provide executive-level briefings and reports

  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities and tasks

  • Ability to work onsite in the client spaces

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:  

  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform

  • Experience with security cooperation information systems, including Socium, Defense Security Assistant Management System (DSAMS), and Security Cooperation Information Portal (SCIP)

  • Experience with working at a combatant command, Military Department or Service headquarters, or component command

  • Knowledge of the security cooperation enterprise and the role of the geographic combatant command

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
