Security Engineering Analyst

Job Description

Zurich North America is hiring a Security Engineering Analyst to join our team! We are open to hiring talent in our Schaumburg office location. Purpose: Supports the execution of information security architecture initiatives by documenting, configuring, deploying and maintaining moderately complex security technologies.

Assist with Information Security projects to deliver the business requirements and functional design of the system solution and testing strategy. Key Accountabilities: Assist in the rapid execution of information security initiatives by maintaining an appropriate level of prioritization, focus and persistenceAssess the security posture of applications and infrastructure. Analyze internal security and business needs and desired results and contribute to development of software solutions with responsibility for the delivery of software applications, with limited guidance. Develop project plans for small projects or work streams of larger projects/programs and drive assist in the execution of these plans to ensure project success.

Act as a project assurance representative and provide security subject matter guidance on security projects. Establish and maintain appropriate communication, engagement and escalation with stakeholders as needed.

Serve as knowledge source for the escalation of moderately complex application design and development issuesContributes to the solution design (including metrics and measures) and implementation, including associated change management activities. Maintains project records in accordance with Zurich Project Management standards. We encourage candidates with salary expectations beyond the provided range to apply as they will be considered based on their experience, skills, and education. The compensation indicated represents a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for geographic differentials pertaining to the location where the position may be filled.

The proposed salary range for this position is $81,800. 00 – $133,900. 00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 10%.
