About Genesys Digital & AI Team

This is an exciting time to be part of Genesys DX Digital & AI Business Unit as we are innovating with speed and scale. You will be a key contributor to create the best cloud-based digital experience (DX) solution focusing on AI and providing an amazing end-to-end experience. As a part of Digital & AI team, you will help us builds Genesys core AI capabilities including Speech Understanding, Natural Language Understanding, and processing, chatbots, voicebots, knowledge surfacing etc., to power the next generation of Genesys products.

About Role

We are looking for problem solvers to help us build next-generation platforms, products, and services. You will work closely with a cross-functional team of developers, researchers and product managers on microservices and event-driven architectures. You will have an opportunity to work as a part of the team that does practical research and contributes to the development of new features, identifies technical risks, and finds alternate solutions to various problems. 

Major Responsibilities/Activities

  • Design and deliver AI Platform Services in AWS including Machine Learning Engines, Model training, prototyping proof of concepts and data creation/manipulation for training.
  • Hands on coding for various aspects for AI Platform Services.
  • Collaborate with product managers, other cross functional teams and drive technical standard and best practices and continuously improve AI Platform Services.
  • Coordinate the implementation among development teams to ensure system performance (latency and accuracy), security, scalability, and availability

About You

  • 5+ years Industry experience with product development.
  • Proven track record of a building products that scale and implementing complex, distributed software systems involving ML and Deep Learning Technologies.
  • Strong expertise in Python/Java programming and solid understanding of OOPs and software engineering principles.
  • Possess good understanding of designing and integrating REST APIs.
  • Good understanding of AWS services e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Load balancer, Cloud formation, VPC, R53, etc.
  • Hands on experience in working on ML and Deep Learning Technologies, primarily in building and deploying large scale models
  • Can quickly diagnose, analyse, and interpret data and issues using software analytics services such as New Relic and SumoLogic.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with effective communication (both written and verbal) skills and the ability to present complex ideas in a clear & concise way, to different audiences. A team player with good work ethics.

Desirable skills

  • Demonstrated experience in building models using ML Frameworks like PyTorch, Tensorflow, HuggingFace etc.
  • Familiarity with modern web application/microservices framework like Spring boot, Flask, Node.
  • Eager to keep abreast with new trends in CX and use of AI for automation.
