What we’re looking for:
As a Senior Operations Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving the company’s growth through detailed data analysis and reporting. You will identify, analyse, and interpret trends in complex data sets to develop a comprehensive understanding of our business landscape. Your insights will be instrumental in shaping strategic decisions and optimising our growth metrics.
- Data Analysis and Interpretation: Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets to develop a thorough understanding of business performance.
- Exploratory Analysis: Conduct exploratory analysis to uncover insights and trends that will inform business strategies.
- Insights Generation: Drive actionable insights from data to support decision-making processes across the company.
- Dashboard Development: Build Management Information System (MIS) Dashboards for central business units to facilitate real-time performance tracking
- Business Reporting: Analyze, forecast, and build custom reports to make key performance indicators (KPIs) and insights available to the entire company.
- Growth Metrics Monitoring: Monitor, optimise, and report on growth metrics and split-test results to ensure continuous improvement.
What makes you a great fit:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role.
- Technical Skills: Must Have Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, VBA, Python) and data visualisation tools (e.g., Looker, Power BI).
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
- You have 2-3 years’ experience in data analysis (Advanced Excel, VBA, Macros, Python & SQL).
- You are a quick learner, multitasker and flexible with projects.
- You are analytical and data-driven with a strong KPI focus, well versed in conversion metrics and quantitative and qualitative data.
