About the job
- An exciting opportunity to be a fundamental part of the digital future at Sainsburys/Argos has arisen. As an Analytics Implementation Engineer, you will be using your experience of working in analytics implementation to help us execute our implementation strategy and enable more informed and faster decisions making.
- Be the subject matter expert of the tools within your remit, i.e. Adobe Analytics and Tealium.
- Develop and implement comprehensive analytics tracking code across various platforms.
- Utilize JavaScript to build core tracking methods. Employ advanced techniques like object/array manipulation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to collect business requirements and translate them into effective tracking documents.
About the team
- The team are responsible for delivering a best in class analytics implementation across various channels, including web, in-store apps and consumer apps. Leveraging our tag management tool, Tealium, and the Adobe SDK, we collaborate with multiple stakeholders such as engineering, product, insight analysts, commercial and marketing teams.
More about you
Essential
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Web Technologies such as JavaScript. While the role does not involve coding large web projects, expertise in coding core tracking methods in JavaScript is essential. This includes array and object manipulation, and familiarity with advanced methodologies and concepts.
- Demonstrate prior experience in providing analytics requirements for web and mobile apps, showcasing a clear process for QA and sign-off, including relevant tools and methodologies.
- Possess effective communication skills, enabling interaction with individuals of varying skills and levels within the organisation.
- Possess 3-5+ years of experience supporting implementation, quality assurance and maintenance of digital analytics tools.
- Show evidence of strong analytics and problem solving skills.
- Adept at working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage project delivery across several different teams and agencies.
- ‘Can do’ attitude with an interest to learn and develop on the go.
- Working knowledge of Adobe analytics and Google Analytics
- Experience using Tealium IQ
