Position Overview Autodesk is seeking a highly accountable, organized Senior Analytics Engineer to join our License Compliance Analytics (LCA) team. Our team plays an essential part within the larger Global License Compliance organization to detect and address non-compliant use of Autodesk’s software. In this role, you will have a strong focus on highly reliable and efficient data production and operations, bringing those to next level with automation and efficiency. The data ELT pipelines that you will own are the backbone of our analytics work. The goal of this role is to ensure that our data workflows are efficient and reliable, and new development and improvements are done in the most efficient and reliable way. To achieve this, you need to have proven experience with ELT tools, automation, data query transformation tools and languages, combined with a high degree of reliability.Through your work and your accountability, our LCA team is empowered to support the larger organization’s goals. We are proud to be deeply embedded in the business, therefore you need to have a good understanding of business requirements and high agility.  You will collaborate with your peers in Analytics Engineering, the Business Analytics team in LCA as well as other data and analytics teams. This position reports to the Manager Analytics Engineering in LCA.This position is hybrid. At Autodesk, we have a hybrid-first culture, which gives you flexibility to alternate between working remotely and coming to the Krakow office.  Key Responsibilities

  • Build and bring to the next level of efficiency and automation data ELT pipelines
  • Develop automated extraction and parsing processes from structured and unstructured, internal and external data sources.
  • Collaborate with LCA team members in project-related data discoveries, with the goal of understanding its business potential.
  • Within Business Analytics projects, understand the structure of new, large data sources; develop relevant transformations as preparation for focused analysis. Support the team to understand the underlying structure.

 Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven data/analytics engineering experience with data transformation tools such as Alteryx, dbt / Airflow, building automated data ELT pipelines
  • 3+ years experience with Python as well as similar programming languages
  • Proven experience with successfully implemented automation projects in a business process environment
  • 2+ years experience writing advanced SQL statements to query and transform data, using cloud-based data warehouse services like Snowflake.
  • 2+ years demonstrated experience with understanding business requirements from functions like sales, marketing and business analytics
  • Experience with PySpark, Machine Learning is a plus
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience with communicating successfully across different, international teams
