Your Mission is:

The Analytics Enablement Team is seeking a hardworking Sr. Analytics Engineer to collaborate directly with our analytics teams and studio partners to transform data into actionable insights for strategic decision-making.  As part of the Analytics Enablement Team, you will build and maintain data pipelines and systems that enable efficient data analysis across the organization. You’ll work closely with designers, engineers, business team members, and analytics peers to build a foundational data layer that helps derive significant insights and recommendations, enhancing gameplay design and commercial decisions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with analysts and data scientists to proactively identify and implement analytics solutions in support of the development goals of game designers and engineers.

  • Develop and maintain data warehouses to ensure a centralized and organized repository for our analytics teams.

  • Partnering with data engineering, data analytics, and data science teams to identify innovative solutions, build and implement project plans, and enhance our reporting capabilities.

  • Designing data solutions to ensure data integrity throughout our pipelines and supporting QA of our reports.

  • Build, maintain, and optimize ETL workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.

  • Establish and enforce data quality standards to ensure the accuracy and reliability of analytics outputs

  • Documentation Excellence: Create comprehensive and understandable documentation for complex data models, ETL processes, and other technical aspects.
  • Domain knowledge: As a data expert, you will share knowledge and insights to contribute to the development of a collaborative and communicative team culture.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: A BA/BS degree in a technical field is required, with a preference for majors in Data Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related areas. Equivalent practical experience is also highly valued.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in data modeling, warehousing, and the development of ETL pipelines, with a preference for experience in Airflow.
  • Technical Skills: Demonstrated expertise in SQL and python for querying complex datasets. The candidate should possess strong technical skills with a proven track record in data handling and manipulation.
  • Data Visualization Competence: Familiarity with creating data visualizations using platforms like Tableau, Looker, or similar tools. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling standard data visualization tasks and translating data into clear, informative visuals, while continuous learning and development in this area will be supported.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $92,920.00 – $171,814.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role’s range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
