In your role as a Senior Analytics Engineer (m/f/d), you will be part of a team of embedded Data Analysts within the Operations department, collaborating closely with business stakeholders as well as product & engineering in order to automate reporting on core aspects of the operations.
Job Description
- Collaborate closely with Business Stakeholders, Product Managers and Engineers and help them define requirements and logic for metrics to measure the performance of complex operations and events;
- Build SQL models using dbt and BigQuery to make data accessible to our stakeholders;
- Work alongside our Data Platform team, our Data Science team and with other Analytics members to develop our data warehouse infrastructure;
- Think creatively to find optimal solutions to our complex, often unstructured problems.
Qualifications
- You have exceptional SQL skills (preferably on Google BigQuery or comparable) and experience in modeling tables with large and complex datasets;
- You have 4+ years of experience in an analytical role;
- Ideally 2-3+ years of experience using dbt to build SQL models;
- You have experience with Looker, and are comfortable writing LookML code;
- Very good communication skills in English and can drill down complex technical topic to business stakeholders;
- You are self-motivated and driven to lead and own complex projects with high impact on Flink’s success.
