Senior Applications Developer
Job Description
We are seeking a Server Developer for Generative AI Applications to play a key role in enhancing Oracle’s HCM and SCM applications with Generative AI capabilities. This position focuses on integrating advanced AI functionalities, leveraging pre-existing Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks, into our enterprise systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, optimize, and deploy these features, ensuring a seamless user experience across Oracle’s applications.

Key Responsibilities
• Integration Development:
• Work on integrating LLMs and RAG frameworks into Oracle’s HCM and SCM applications.
• Develop APIs and backend services that enable seamless interaction between Generative AI models and existing applications.
• Customization and Enhancement:
• Customize Generative AI capabilities to address specific business requirements in HCM and SCM domains.
• Enhance workflows and user experiences by embedding AI-driven insights and automation.
• Performance Optimization:
• Optimize AI integrations for low-latency and high-reliability performance in enterprise-scale environments.
• Refine backend systems to handle real-time data processing and AI computations efficiently.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with AI research teams to understand model capabilities and align with application needs.
• Coordinate with product managers and frontend developers to deliver a cohesive end-to-end solution.
• Security and Scalability:
• Implement security best practices to safeguard data and ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
• Design scalable solutions capable of handling growing user demands and workloads.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
• Proficiency in backend development using languages Python and Java.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and frameworks into enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS, or GCP.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Preferred Skills:
• Understanding of LLMs and RAG frameworks, including practical experience with AI model integration.
• Familiarity with enterprise software, particularly in the HCM and SCM domains.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in working with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work across teams.
• Adaptability to evolving technologies and project requirements.
