Job Description

Minimum qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree. Preferred qualifications:MBA degree.

Experience managing and delivering project components with limited guidance. Ability to identify and solve problems within a given project scope. Excellent investigative skills, with the ability to distill insights from data and present actionable recommendations. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.

About the jobThe Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading up cross vertical initiatives that are foundational to the success and growth of the team. You will partner closely with stakeholders as well as cross-functional partners across Go-To-Market (GTM), Large Customer Sales (LCS), Finance, Marketing, etc. in order to drive scaled strategy and execution.

You will leverage your investigative skills, solve complex problems, drive executive-level decision making, and deliver impactful change for Google’s largest commercial business. The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google’s complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy.

We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $118,000-$170,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

ResponsibilitiesDrive cross-functional projects with end-to-end ownership of select initiatives, partnering with stakeholders across multiple Google product areas to achieve sales and partnership goals. Provide critical analysis and data-driven recommendations to executive leaders on high-priority topics, such as partnership and go-to-market strategies, identifying opportunities for growth and resolving operational inefficiencies. Provide day-to-day strategy and operations support to executive leaders in the Global Partnerships organization (e.

g. , Directors and Vice President’s), developing clear, simple, and communications to influence decision-making. Solve problems with multiple potential solutions, applying a wide range of tools and approaches to develop optimal outcomes.
