Senior BI Developer

Do you have a strong experience in data analysis, data visualization, and data modelling?

Our client, a well-established Group of Companies is seeking to hire an experienced BI Developer to join their team in Limassol. In this role, you will be responsible for turning data into critical insights that will help drive their business decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain visually compelling and interactive reports using PowerBI.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
• Identify and implement performance optimization strategies for reports and dashboards to ensure optimal user experience.
• Conduct regular performance tuning and troubleshooting of BI solutions.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for BI solutions, including data models, report specifications, and best practices.
• Translate business needs to technical specifications needed to create reporting components from multiple data sources.
• Evaluate and continuously improve existing BI systems and reporting to provide sustainable and responsive reporting for key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with various teams across whole organisation to integrate systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis and business intelligence, with at least 3 years focused on Microsoft Power BI.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis, SQL, and data modeling.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure for hosting and managing Power BI datasets.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
