Job DescriptionJob Summary:The Senior Business Analyst (Senior), Digital Transformation & Innovation (DT&I) plays a pivotal role in driving the strategic initiatives that enhance our digital capabilities. The Senior analyzes business processes, identifies opportunities for digital innovation, and implements solutions that align with the strategic goals of our Tax practice. The ideal candidate has an understanding of technology, process, and data.
The Senior coordinates with the tax practice, DT&I, and National IT to create and implement technology tools to meet the needs of our clients and professionals. Job Duties:Creates prototypes and low code solutions, as requiredCreates reports, dashboards, and visualizations, as requiredGathers requirements from business stakeholders and translates them as features and user storiesGrooms requirements for architects and developersPrepares technical documentation for assigned productsPerforms functional product testingPrepares test plansDesigns and tests business processes and recommends improvementsIdentifies automation opportunitiesGathers and analyzes data related to assigned products and projectsCommunicates insights and findings to product managers and technical leadersPerforms data discovery, analysis and modellingAssists with project management, as requiredCoordinates with National IT to schedule required reviews and deployment of toolsOther duties, as requiredSupervisory Responsibilities:Acts as a direct supervisor to team members, as assigned Acts as a mentor, as assignedQualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Education:Bachelor’s Degree, required; focus in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Business management, Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology, preferred Experience:Three (3) or more years of experience in business analysis, requiredLicense/Certifications:N/ASoftware:Knowledge of documenting requirement using Azure DevOps or Jira, requiredStrong Microsoft Power Platform (PowerBI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse) skills, preferredFundamental knowledge of SQL Server skills, preferredFoundational knowledge of Alteryx, preferredLanguage:N/AOther Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:Strong organizational skillsStrong technical writing skillsStrong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple prioritiesWillingness to learn and stay current with emerging technologiesData analysis and analytics skillsKnowledge of creating technical product documentationProcess design and documentation skillsStrong presentation skillsStrong management skillsKnowledge in generating process and technical documentationStrong facilitation skillsIndividual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
