Senior BI Analyst

Location: Spain, fully remote

Job Overview 

We are seeking a skilled and experienced BI Analyst to lead and drive advanced analytics initiatives. This role involves developing, overseeing projects, and ensuring successful deployment of data driven solutions that align with company strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have strong background in data science, excellent leadership skills and the ability to communicate complex data insights to stakeholders.

Team Overview 

•    The Analytics Hub serves as a central data & analytics function across the US and Canada Regional Business Unit (RBU) and provides business and operational insights to stakeholders in GTM, Commercial Operations, Finance, and Delivery Operations 
•    The Analytics Hub is responsible for developing forward-looking and predictive insights to support the RBU’s executive team in execution of their strategic priorities. 

Key responsibilities:

•    Develop and implement data science strategies/models that align with organizational goals.
•    Develop fit for purpose AI/ML models/algorithms/processes to address business operations (sales, finance, etc.) and innovative products upon completion of prototypes followed by the building production algorithms/automations for client deliverables. 
•    Develop, test, and deploy machine learning models and algorithms.
•    Ensure scalability, accuracy, and performance of predictive models.
•    Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, dashboards that answer business needs.
•    Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications. 
•    Able to bring newly researched ideas to reality quickly and on a large scale. Design, build, test, and deliver products from post-prototype to delivery.
•    Under general direction, formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and requirements.
•    Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. 
•    Competent to work at the highest technical level of most phases of systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.

Qualifications:
•    Degree in Machine Learning, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Math, or related field

•    Proven experience in Power BI or any other BI too
•    Strong communication skills in English
•    Analytical mind-set & problem-solving skills 
•    Experience working on creating machine learning algorithms.
•    Experience working with large, real-world datasets
•    Familiarity with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
•    Understanding of basic ETL concepts, including data extraction, transformation, and loading processes
